As well as more formal work, in my spare time I like to create graphics for forums, here's a few example of such work that I create for a football forum.
This is my final book cover design, this time depicting To Kill A Mockingbird. This is perhaps my favourite book cover design. I like the simplistic nature of it, and I believe that the imagery and use of typography is concise and effective.
Book cover design for Of Mice and Men. I have looked to take a very literal approach to the title of the book, and have hence featured a mouse that is postioned around the text.
Here's a book cover design for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The main thinking behind my design was to position the typography around Harry Potter's glasses, which I feel are an iconic image of the book in my opinion. As well as this, to make the piece more coherent, I have also incorporated Harry Potter's famous lightning bolt scar, as again this is imagery that is commonly associated with the book in my opinion.
Book cover design for Animal Farm. Soviet imagery used to represent the mirroring of events in the book to events in the Soviet Union. Only 3 pantone colours have been used, and I thought it was essential that one of those was red; to again create associations with the Soviet Union.

Poster design depicting popular horror author Stephen King, without blatantly giving away his identity. I tried to achieve this by using typography, positioned with an outline of the state of Maine (where King is from), this typography states some of King's most popular novels.

Hi, welcome to my blog, I've made this primarily to exhibit my print designs, so feeback would be appreciated.

At the minute I produce most of my work with the aid of Photoshop, but I'm looking to try my hand at InDesign, After Effects and Flash more, so expect to see more animated shenanigans in future.

So lets get the ball rolling, here's some work that I recently produced...
